Fathers

Matthew 6:9
In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.

A good father has a respected position.

We should respect our fathers.

Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

A good father has a wonderful plan.

Good ideas aren't always God's ideas.

Father are leaders for the family members to follow.

Matthew 6:11
Give us this day our daily bread.

A good father provides.

Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

A good father provides for the emotional needs of his child.

To be a good dad: Find an activity to do together regularly. Help the child develop hobbies and interests. Mentor more and discipline less during the teenage years. Talk to the child and be a good listener. Love your child's mother with all your heart. A child is never too old to be told, I Love You.

Matthew 6:12
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.

A good father pardons.

Matthew 6:13
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

A good father protects.
